Gwyn Jones, Lynn Suddenly on 31 October 2025 at Maelor Hospital, Wrecsam, aged 77 years of Summerhill (formerly of Caergwrle). Wife to the late Dylan Gwyn Jones. Proud Mum to Sioned, Catrin and Heledd, tender Mother-in-law to Pete, loving Naini to Llio, Buddug and Menna. Dear sister to Gaynor, Mark and the late David. She will be sorely missed by friends and family. All welcome at the service at Brymbo Sports and Social Complex (Brymbo Cricket Club) on Tuesday, November 25, at 12:30pm and at the burial at Hope Cemetery. Thank you for being an inspirational French teacher. You inspired my love for languages and so many good memories of our trips to Forges-les-Eaux, both as a pupil and as an assistant teacher when in college. What fun we had! Will always remember you and your care. Love to all your family and especially your daughters. Will never forget you! Rest easy x

Such an inspirational teacher. Loved your French lessons and you taught me so much and inspired my love of languages. So many memories in school and of the trip to Forges-les-Eaux, both as a pupil in Darland and as an assistant teacher when I went with the school when I was in college to help out. What a great fun time we had! Thank you Mrs Jones. I will always remember you! Condolences to Lynn’s family and especially her daughters. I hope you take comfort that Lynn inspired and helped so many of us. Much love x
